Still no word from Houston as to the results from the test on my liver ducts. I do have a new stent in my common bile duct and it feels so much better, so mission accomplished on that issue.
Yesterday I started soaking wheat grass seeds and after only two rinses they were ready to plant. I was in a panic to get those little sprouted babies into the ground and read and reread the directions. Why didn't I take pictures? Well, my plan is to wait and see how this group takes and whether I need more or less seeds next time. I can't believe how nervous I was to get it right. It is so FUN getting excited!!!!!
Food is a challenge; I mean finding a variety of organic veggies is not easy in this part of the country. Publix has some offerings, but sprouts are the issue and, of course, wheatgrass. I can't wait to have a fresh supply growing at my fingertips. I have already ordered seeds and they are being shipped as we speak.
I have been trying some recipes to round out the sprouts and I have had some success with tuna salad (sunflower seeds). I made some veggie crackers, with the dehydrator and that was cool. Whatever is left over from a meal, you just dehydrate into crackers or salad toppings. Waste not, want not.
Off to watch the wheatgrass grow...
P.S. Ayden loves my cooking, he just covers it all up with catsup! HOHUM
