Sometimes I feel lucky that I don't know as much as some of the other attendees. I am like an empty vessel or a thirsty sponge. I have heard the saying before that the more you need, the more you get. Fill 'er up!!!
I also don't need to be retrained because of preconceived notions or philosophies.
Let me share a few tidbits of knowledge, most of which you probably already know, but just keep open to it, OK?
What you can do to help yourself follow the rules and timetables by which your body is governed?
- Give your body a chance to finish each meal cycle by training yourself to do either or both of the following:
a) eat smaller meals
b) allow your body additional time between meals
- Finish an eliminations cycle in the morning and awaken your digestive system slowly by eating a very light breakfast. Sleep is a daily opportunity for the body to eliminate waste: that is one of the major reasons to give it rest.
- Eat your largest meal between noon and 2pm because that is the time when your body is most efficient and "hungriest" for nutrition.
- Do not eat after sundown. Give your body a full 12-16 hours to finish processing whatever you have consumed during the day.
- Exercise lightly and breathe deeply for 5 - 10 minutes before and after each meal. Exercising before a meal often minimizes what you perceive to be hunger. Light exercise after a meal accelerates the processing of food by delivering oxygen to your systems.
- Fast (while consuming liquids) one day per week in order to give your body as much as 36 hours to excise any unwanted material that might have accumulated during the week.
If you follow these guidelines, within three months you will see a healthy change in the efficiency with which your body processes food. You will feel better nourished while eating less. You will have more energy and think more clearly. Irritable bowel functions - including diarrhea and constipation will begin to be alleviated. You will feel and function better in every way.
So there you have it... Tomorrow stay tuned for emotions and their association to body organs.
